Skylink Virtual Airlines is a member of IVAO (International Virtual Aviation Organization); it is a virtual airline that does not exist in the real world and serves the virtual aviation hobby, intended solely for entertainment and hobby purposes.

What we do
- You do not need to be a SKYLINK pilot to fly with us; IVAO membership is enough.
- We let pilots fly with any ACARS they prefer.
- We provide booking, dispatch, tracking, and passport tools.
- We reward activity with LINX, badges, ranks, and progression.
What we don't
- We are not a real-world airline or commercial operator.
- You do not have to fly with us every time you fly online.
- We do not remove your membership for inactivity unless you ask us to.
- At this time, we do not provide liveries for simulators other than MSFS 2024.

Rules and Regulations
SKYLINK Virtual Airlines and its members are deemed to have accepted all rules of the International Virtual Aviation Organization (IVAO) and are obliged to comply with them and ensure their compliance.
Members who do not comply with these rules, challenge them, or persist in non-compliance may have their membership temporarily or permanently suspended or completely deleted without prior notice.
This right is reserved by the SKYLINK Virtual Airlines Management.

Additionally, as SKYLINK Virtual Airlines, we have certain rules governing the operation of our airline. After your first visit to our website and the first flight you complete with us, the process will proceed as follows:
Contract Pilot:
You can fly even without becoming a pilot of our virtual airline, and you will not be listed in the Airlines Roster.
All you need to do is log in to our website, create a flight, and start it. After completing this first flight, you will appear on our website and in our system as a Contract Pilot, and you can fly with us as much as you like.
Pilot Application:
When you become a Contract Pilot and meet our requirements, we will notify you through our website. We have only two simple requirements: on IVAO, your pilot rating must be at least Private Pilot (PP), and your ATC rating must be at least Aerodrome Controller (ADC).
If you hold these ratings, you can become a pilot with us immediately.
Pilot Initial Activity Requirement (PIAR):
It starts with the date and time you register as a SKYLINK Virtual Airlines Pilot, and you are expected to send at least one PIREP within 7 days. If not, your role in the system will automatically be changed to Contract Pilot.
Pilot Activity Requirement (PAR):
Once you meet the PAR requirement, your PAR records will be tracked throughout your career in our virtual airline.
For PAR, you must complete at least two flights or two hours of flight time within a month. Your flight time is recorded as the duration between takeoff and landing (Air Time).
If you do not meet the PAR requirements, our system will automatically change your role to Hired Pilot.
Flights and Tracking:
Our flights are monitored and recorded via our website and the IVAO Network.
Therefore, flights performed offline or on other networks will not appear in our system and will not be recorded.
For our system to reliably track and report your flight, you must remain in the parking position at both the departure and arrival airports for at least 2 minutes after going online and before going offline.
We do not use any ACARS program. If you wish to keep your own records, you may use any ACARS program you prefer; to learn more, click the ‘More Links’ section at the bottom of our website.

SKYLINK Virtual Airlines is a non-profit association and consists of virtual flight enthusiasts on the International Virtual Aviation Organization (IVAO) and we have no registered office and no legal representative.

Passwords:
SKYLINK Virtual Airlines is a virtual airline and a member of the International Virtual Aviation Organization (IVAO). Registration and login on our website at https://www.skylinkva.com are handled via the IVAO OAuth API; therefore, no passwords are collected or stored on our site.
Other Personal Data:
Information such as your first and last name, email address, username, and user ID is stored in our system via the IVAO OAuth API service. Any changes you make to these fields on IVAO are automatically reflected in our system. Therefore, you cannot modify these details directly on our website. Your email address and date of birth are not displayed on any page of our site. Your full name and surname can only be seen by other members of SKYLINK Virtual Airlines in restricted (members-only) pages.
Why do we need this Personal Data:
This information is retained to interact with you on our website and to support virtual aviation activities (e.g., the flight tracking and logging system). It is not shared with third parties and is transmitted over SSL/TLS and stored in a high-security environment.
Who has access to the data you provide:
Only staff members can access this data if it is needed.
RIGHTS:
It is always possible to withdraw consent to the processing of your data, after which it will be deleted from our systems. This immediately terminates membership in SKYLINK Virtual Airlines. Members have always had the right to delete their accounts by using their own profile pages.
COOKIES:
Cookies are small files provided by web browsers and used to enhance the user experience. When you revisit our website or its pages, these files help speed up your interactions.
CHANGES:
SKYLINK Virtual Airlines reserves the right to change its privacy policy at any time without prior notice.
