We mentioned in the previous section that we use the term “Official Pilot” for registered pilots and “Contract Pilot” for non-registered pilots. The two groups have different roles; let’s briefly explain them below.

CONTRACT PILOTS:

Roles are reassigned every month for Contract Pilots.

• Visitor: Pilots who perform no flights.
• Active Pilot: Pilots who regularly perform at least 1 flight per month.
• Contract Pilot: Pilots who regularly perform at least 4 flights per month.

OFFICIAL PILOTS:

Once a pilot attains one of these roles, it remains fixed; however, all pilots are required to meet the PAR.

• Official Pilot: Registered pilots who perform up to 2 flights within the same month hold this role (PAR).
• Line Pilot: Pilots who regularly perform at least 5 flights per month.
• Staff Pilot: Pilots who regularly perform at least 15 flights per month.

The roles above are tied to the payments we make to our pilots and to pilots’ expenses. Contract Pilots earn less and pay higher fees than our Official Pilots, and within the Contract Pilot group these amounts also vary by role.

All rank/role adjustments are made on the first day of the following month based on the pilot’s performance in the previous month. Pilots can be promoted as well as demoted by the system.

• Line Pilot: Ayda düzenli olarak en az 5 uçuş yapan pilotlar.
• Staff Pilot: Ayda düzenli olarak en az 15 uçuş yapan pilotlar.

Yukarıda belirtilen roller, pilotlarımıza yaptığımız ödemeler ve pilotlarımızın harcamalarıyla ilişkilidir. Contract Pilotlar, Official Pilotlarımıza göre daha az kazanıp, daha pahalı ücretler öderken, kendi içlerinde yer alan rollere göre de bu miktarlar değişmektedir.
