Pilot Roles
For our registered pilots we use the term “Official Pilot”, while for non-registered pilots we use the term “Contract Pilot.” Both groups have different roles, and now we will briefly explain these roles.
CONTRACT PILOT
- Visitor: Pilots who perform up to 2 flights within the same month hold this role.
- Active Pilot: Pilots who regularly perform at least 2 flights per month.
- Contract Pilot: Pilots who regularly perform at least 5 flights per month.
OFFICIAL PILOT
- Official Pilot: Registered pilots who perform up to 2 flights within the same month hold this role (PAR).
- Line Pilot: Pilots who regularly perform at least 5 flights per month.
- Staff Pilot: Pilots who regularly perform at least 10 flights per month.
The roles mentioned above are related to the payments we make to our pilots and the expenses of our pilots. You can find detailed information under the heading “Pilot Economy.”
All rank adjustments are made on the first day of the following month, based on the pilot’s performance in the previous month. Pilots can be promoted as well as demoted.

Welcome!
Thank you for visiting SKYLINK.
This is where the story begins.
Take a flight now to see how it works. Don’t worry—you won’t be the pilot. We just want you to see how easy it is.
After your first flight, you can apply to become one of our pilots. Or, if you’d prefer to fly with us from time to time without becoming a SKYLINK Pilot, feel free to visit our website and take a flight whenever you like.
By the way, do you have our aircraft paintings? You may want to visit Downloads page as well.
