Create, Book and Dispatch Flights
Fly with any ACARS, connect with IVAO, operate with SKYLINK Dispatch.
Create and book
New passenger operations come from the live Operations Desk or Charter Operations. Cargo Operations, Exclusive Services, Event flights and pilot-owned hangar flights retain their own eligibility rules. Scheduled operations are retired; historical records remain Legacy Service entries.
Availability is filtered by pilot and aircraft position, ownership, status, maintenance, range reserve, airport permissions and the global route-family slot. One passenger, one cargo and one exclusive operation may occupy the same direction at a time.
Dispatch package
At dispatch SKYLINK freezes the flight identity, aircraft, alternates, SimBrief-returned load, assigned stands, network snapshot and Aircraft Duty Chain. The assigned arrival stand is sent to SimBrief Dispatch Remarks as advisory information; an ATC assignment always prevails.
Connection Flights also freeze the inbound callsigns, airline names, VIDs, ETAs, Connection PAX, transfer window, BE ONLINE BEFORE time and ETD. Passenger and cargo loads are generated once, sent to SimBrief and validated against the returned OFP before their persistent journey narrative is created.
Time handling
The simulator time may differ from real IVAO time, so normal booking expiry uses booking time. Connection Flights are the exception: inbound ETA, BE ONLINE BEFORE and Connection ETD are live UTC operational commitments.
